On the 16th of august 2004
i had a beautiful baby girl i named her chloe marie blackmore
she appeared to be healthy.
then when she was just ten weeks old we discovered she had a terrible disease called cystic
ffibrosis.we were all very upset especially when the doctors said that there was not a cure for
this.
we only found out chloe had the cf through a heel prick that all new borns have.
i got a telephone call from the cystic ffibrosis nurse at alderhey telling me that chloes blood
tests came back abnormal and that i had to bring chloe in the next day first thing for more tests to
be done.
then they told me that she had cystic ffibrosis.
we were all heartbroken. How could my perfect baby be ill.
you would nothink it too look at her she looked healthy.
then chloe took bad that night and was rushed to whiston hospital.
she was in a few days then came home two weeks later she was in again this carried on and then in
febuary 2005 she was taken in again and contracted MRSA in the throat chloe remained in alderhey til
she sadly slipped away on 31st may 2005 at 12.45am. i will never forget that terrible day. Chloe was
my life and world along with her sister Emily Elizabeth.Chloe was burried on 8th june at st helens
crematorium there was alot of people who turned up to chloe's funeral over 500 people where there to
say goodbye to my little angel. You suffered so much darlin more than anyone could cope with. We are
so proud of you babes
Iam proud to of been your mummy and emily is proud to of been your sister. After what you went
through you still lit up a room by well just being there.our brave little princess
we love and miss so much angel goodnight our little princess we will always love and miss you.You
will never ever be forgotten babes

it's been 2 and a half years now
and we miss you more than ever
our bestest present of all would be to have you back with us
but we know that is never goin to happen
to your nan if i can call her that you were just some baby she didn't care about. but to me and emily babes you were our life i'd of died for you.

a dream
I feel I must tell you all, about my dream last night. I dreamt that I met all our loved ones. The adult angels were dancing with all the little angels. It was so lovely. My own little daughter was held in Kristians arms. (a young man from GTS). The all looked so happy. Fiona held her little arms out to me. I got a long longed for cuddle of my precious little baby girl. They are happy. Before I woke, they told me they had to go back. I didnt want to wake up. Its was beautiful, but I cried so much when I did wake up. Our angels are at peace, and most of all they are happy. I just know they are. I talked to my two nephews Joseph and Christopher, and I finally got to meet my brother who past away before I was even born. What a wonderful experience, but sad, too. All of your loved ones are happy GTS friends. love from Shirley xx

I am so sorry for your loss. My friend died of cf some six year ago age 22 and her brother who is two year older than her also has cf and tries to battle on.It is not the same as loosing your child I too had my daughter die 6 month ago age 5 wks and the pain is undescribable however I know how much pain my friend was in near the end at least beautifull Chloe wont have to suffer that.my love to you all at this horrible time.xxxx

i would just like to say i completly sympathise with the family CF is a horrible nasty disease. i watched as two of my cousins battled the disease liam evans who only made it 4 years and craig evans who thankfully made it to 22. to loose a child is hard enough for any mother.
im so sorry and i know that she will be looking down on you and taking care of her mummy and sister.
here is a little poem for the family
